For the past few years our tradition has been to go to the Long Park Fireworks.....only we don't watch them from Long's Park, because it is claustrophobically crowded in there. Instead we go up the street to some soccer fields. We always get Chinese take-out & have a picnic. This year was LOTS of fun. Full of sparklers, frisbee, football, watermelon & lots of friends!

wow, you inspire me. there have been a few "traditions" we've let go since maddie's been born, it just gets hard with a young one. fireworks has been one. i never knew how madelyn would react to such loud bangs, etc. did addie do okay, apparently so!
what fun, it's good to keep up traditions and continue to do fun & exciting things, even after the little ones arrive, addalie will grow to enjoy all these fun things and they'll be great memories through the years.
