This little piggy went to market......

Every year down at Booth's Corner there is a Costume Parade. Lots of kids dress up & walk from vendor to vendor & get candy. It is a Loooong Parade. Addalie decided that she wanted to join the fun, so this morning we headed down to visit daddy. She was dressed as a pig. (tail & all) I showed her what she looked like in the mirror before we left & she was pretty proud. She did not even take her hat off which is usually the case.

Addalie is ONE!

Yesterday Addalie turned one! I can't believe it. There were a few times during the day that tears came to my eyes as I thought about the blessing that she is & God's kindness to give her to us. She is such a happy happy little girl!
Scott was at market yesterday, (but he came home early to see Addalie on her birthday. Special! Addalie doesn't realize that he NEVER leaves early on Friday nites-some day I'll tell her.=) )
But my mom was here for the afternoon so Addalie got to open some gifts from her & one from Scott & I. We are having a little party for her next week.

The Outer Banks

Last week Scott, Addalie & I got to go to The Outer Banks! We went with 3 other couples from our church. The house we stayed at was A-M-A-Z-I-N-G!!! We all had our own room/bathroom. There were 2 dishwashers, 2 washer/dryer, a pool, hot tub, pool table & you get the picture. There was one other house between us & the beach & the weather was fabulously warm the whole time. FUN TIMES!

The Cabin

This past weekend we went to Scott's Uncle's Cabin. All of the married cousins were invited. We had so much fun. We had perfect fall weather. Scott's aunt & uncle were constantly feeding us. We enjoyed hiking, campfires, relaxing & lots of good conversation! And, Addalie was thrilled to have lots of playmates.
