Seven

Last week Scott & I celebrated our 7th wedding anniversary.
We are so grateful to God that He has joined us together. Even though things haven't always been easy, God has always provided for our needs & been faithful to carry us through.
Marriage is a funny thing. You'd think that after 7 years we would completely know each other...but their are still times when I learn new things about Scott, or I am surprised by something that he does or says. But, there is no doubt in either of our minds that He sovereignly placed us together & we are "perfect for each other"!!

Step Out

On Sunday October 11th, Scott Addalie & I are going to be walking in the "Walk to Fight Diabetes"! I have never done any fundraising for diabetes before, but I am excited about it! The walk will take place in Wrightesville. We will be walking 3 miles & part of the walk will be over the Wrightesville bridge stretching across the Susquehanna River. If you are intersted in in sponsoring us let me know! I will keep you posted.

Weekend in DC with MeRa!

I had the most wonderful time in DC last weekend!! It was a dream come true for me to be able to attend MeRa's workshop. I learned oddles of things...both about photography & about myself. MeRa (& her husband Brian) were so personable & generous with their knowledge. We had two very full days--not even breaking for lunch. (we ate while they taught) Hard core- I know!

Not only did I get to have great one on one talks with Jamie about everything under the sun- but I also got to meet 18 other amazing & talented women who were wanting to learn more about photog.

Aghhh. I have so much blogging to catch up on. Life is moving at a fast pace right now. But most importantly my sister is at the hospital & in labor right now. Praying for you Sara & Adam. Can't wait to see your little bundle.

D.C. Bound!

Oh I can't wait!! Tomorrow afternoon Jamie & I are heading down to DC for the weekend for a Photography workshop!!! We will be staying here!!! & soaking up tons of photo knowledge from MeRa!

So Long Summer....

We just got back from the beach......ahhhh....it was wonderful as always! We typically go about 4 times over the summer with Labor Day being the last trip down. We went with my mom & Dwayne/Tina/Owen/Mia joined us for 2 of the days. The weather wasn't as "perfect" as it usually is in September but we still did lots & r-e-l-a-x-e-d!!

Any of you who know Scott, know that he is mortified by this picture! (he hates make-up!!)

But, Addalie loves all things "girl" & is always playing with her "play necklaces/bracelets & rings". She doesn't understand that you need to have your ears pierced to wear earrings....she often wonders in her own little words...
"how does mommy get them to stay in her ears but i can't??"

She also loves to clean things & unfortunately soon after I took this picture, I discovered that she was "cleaning" the toilet bowl with the (not cheap) makeup brushes!!!
