Thurs. evening

Update:
*We've been feeding Jyla dried prunes....& I"ll just say that they are working!!  =))
*Right now all are in bed....& Jyla is in her crib!!!!!!  Pray for us as you go about your day & we are sleeping...that when/if she wakes up she can be settled....We all need the sleep!
*Tomorrow is a medical examination.  Which isn't really a big deal except that Jyla willl have to get 6 immunizations!  (if you know me, you know how i feel about 6 at once!!) ahhhh.....we have no choice.  she has to get them to leave the country.  USA laws.
*There is another family here right now who is in our "group" with HOLT & was adopting at 12 year old daughter.  She is adorable!!  full of life & so sweet.  They have decided to decline the adoption...(which is almost unheard of)...please pray for them...& this 12 yr. old that has to go back to the orphanage.  i don't know details...just know that they willl tell the sweet girl tomorrow...& the family will fly out of China asap.  The HOLT workers here have been so stressed by this & haven't had much extra time & are stretched very thin right now.
*Addalie:  I know I keep saying this...but she has been an example to my mom, scott & I of Christ!  Jyla is use to being an "only foster child" & doesn't share...doesn't let addalie near her...hits her when she does something she doesn't like....etc.  Scott & I were both in tears today as we watch how addalie G R A C I O U S L Y responds over & over.  Addalie LOVES Jyla...& is continually turning the other check.  Such an example to us.

guess i should go to bed while everyone is sleeping...don't know how long it will last!?
time is really going quite quickly for us.  one week from tomorrow we will fly back to the states w/jyla girl!

The updates are part of our morning routine as the kids look for pictures of Addalie and Jylah. We want to know if Jylah was falling out of a chair and you just happened to catch it? Praying that your nights go better and that the building of trust would continue. We will continue to pray for Addalie to exhibit grace to Jylah. Glad to hear your sugars are doing well and hope and pray this continues. Scott is in out prayers for strength and patience. Even though you are going through some difficult transitional times, know that this will eventually only be a memory.

Rebekah told me to remove the "h" from Jyla's name. Sorry for misspelling it.

Was praying for you recently, and had this picture enter my mind of Addalie and Jyla going back to China together on a trip in their early 20's. It brought tears to my eyes. Their sister-hood is going to grow. It will be the work of God. And it will be very beautiful and precious.
What a special girl God has given you as your first. She has always stood out to me. What a girl!

Cynthia
PS: and will pray for rest!!

My mom sent me the link for your blog, and I sat here for the past half hour in tears reading about your adventures and looking at the pictures of your sweet little girl. The pictures of Scoot and Jyla are sooo precious, and she looks so fragile (emotionally and otherwise) in his arms. I am sooo happy for you guys, and little J is so lucky to be part of such a wonderful family!
