A few weeks ago, Scott had a sausage sandwich stand at the Gordonville Fire Co. Sale. (aka The Mudd Sale) Scott really wanted us to come & visit, so I called my mom up just in case i needed someone to catch Addalie & I as we slipped through the mud! It was crazy!! The weather was horrible! Thunderstorms & high winds went through (luckily things were pretty calm when we were there.) We enjoyed sausage sandwiches & had fun taking in the "culture" of it all! Even though I've lived in Lancaster County most of my life, there are still moments when my mouth drops open & I am amazed at the things that go on around here. This was definitely one of those days!

Aww, how cute that little Addalie is. Arlan goes to the Gordonville Auction every year and I just cross my fingers that they don't spend too much money but we were in VA this year for our anniversary get away and didn't go. Otherwise I'm sure a scrumptious sausage sandwich would have been on the agenda!!
what fun. clark and i have walked down to the sale from ike & julie's a few years. we often thought it could use a sausage stand. way to go scott. i remember the day of the sale, because clark mentioned swinging by and i thought, not in this weather!
looks like you still had fun.
"and the wife of the year award goes to..." i remember that day...it was insanely rainy. you are a good wife indeed:) xo
