Baba

she is a cuddle bug!!!  addalie wonders if jyla can walk....cause she always wants to be held!  she walked yesterday in the park...but she still hasn't let us put her down here in the hotel.  =)  we're fine with holding her though!

this pic is from yesterday.....

you all are so SWEET!  the emails & comments leave me crying at my computer every morning!!  (we are 12 hours ahead) thank you thank you for all of the encouragement & more importantly all of the prayers!  we had a pretty good night.  addalie seems to be feeling better.  jyla woke up on & off in the night but was quickly comforted if scott was close by.  she didn't like if it was dark & she couldn't see him....so she ended up sleeping beside him...all cuddled up!  karen, your heart would melt if you saw your son with his little little daughter!!!!  Baba (which i entitled the post) is the word for father...she loves her daddy!!!  we are told that most of the care givers over here are female so it is typical for these little ones to "attach" to the fathers (at least at first) because they are used to the ladies coming in & out of their lives.  eventually when she realizes that i'm not going anywhere, she will probably be more comfortable with me.  she lets me hold her sometimes...but if scott is close by she cries until he has her.  jyla was in an orphanage after she was born for 7 months, then she went to a childrens home....(we didn't know this before yesterday) at the home she was SOOO well taken care of...it is a small home w/some americans running it....some are Christians...a few months later she had her surgery & returned to the children's home for a bit more....then was place in foster care where she has been for the past year.  her foster parents LOVED her!!  they wrote her a letter in Chinese & it was translated for us....they sent along some of her favorite drinks (non of which she's tasted yet)

both of my girlies are awake now...so i will quickly attach a few photos & be on my way!
(i am using someone elses computer & that is why i can do bigger photos...it's confusing..i've had millions of technical difficulties....but it is SO important to us to let you all know how we are...so we are still trying to iron out all of the glitches.)
THANK YOU again for your prayers!!
Scott just got Jyla to take a drink!!!  Yay!!!  pray that she will eat today!  (some children can go as long as 7 days of not eating....it's their way of grieving. )
