meet jyla grace!!

well, we have our little girl!!!  she is AMAZING!!  so so so sweet!!
today went really well.  she LOVES her daddy....& he is by far her preference to be with. she's not so sure of addalie yet =))  but i'm sure the time will come.

she hasn't eaten or drank anything for us yet...but we've been told that that is normal...she is sad...because she had a really strong attachment to her foster parents (which is a blessing).  she is so content & quiet...(opposite of addalie in so many ways) she is small!!!  as small as they told us.  & she had a Baby Gap dress on!!  (unheard of!)
she is potty trained & they said that she is having no problems with eating food/drinking due to her cleft palate.

we are going to meet her foster parents & visit the children's home that she was at...we got alot more information on her today!  she has been taken care of so very well!

i need to go...addalie just threw up all of her dinner.  (hopefully it was a 1 time thing)
please keep praying for us!!  for health & for jyla's transition to us.

we are SO thankful for God's kindness to us!!  She is such a sweetie!

OH, Scott & Ang...
we have prayed many times this week and now this AM as I pull up your blog and see this BEAUTIFUL daughter; tears fill my eyes ...rejoicing in God's goodness to you. the gift of a child is such a blessing! You will be wonderful parents to your two daughters; nurturing them in the Truth of God.
Blessings as you "get to know her" and celebrate this gift.

...praying for...
-Addalie's adjustment
-blood sugars
-good sleep for all
-smooth adjustment for Jyla
etc, etc, etc.
love, Tim & Jul

just have to add, the picture of you all sitting on the floor with jyla and it appears as scott is talking to a staff member, it cracks me up, because i can totally hear scott asking all sorts of questions (rightfully so) and doing his "scott thing". I can just hear him now, his tone, his curiousity & care.
what a good daddy he is & will be to your little addition.

What an exciting adventure this is--not without it's twists and turns---but an experience of a lifetime! I simply can't wait to meet Jyla. She looks to be snuggly and sweet, so precious. Praying that this day will be filled with the first of many memories together as a family...

praying praying praying... for the grief that Jyla feels...God just meet her in that place... speak PEACE to her soul... take her through Jesus, and give Scott and Ang all that they need, right now, to be these girls parents, for BOTH girls, what each one needs... I remember those overwhelming emotions like they were yesterday.... He is so in this Ang!
