On Friday we went to the Great Wall.
(I took pictures in RAW format on my camera & have been struggleing to download the program from the internet to view them.....so needless to say, today i changed my camera settings to jpeg...& i am posting a few of my mom's Great Wall pics.)
The Great Wall is absolutely fabulous!! It is 5,500 miles long! We went to the Mutianyu section that has cable cars...which was great considering we had a 2 yr. old with us. It was about a 2 hr. drive to get there....but it was fun to drive thru the more rural areas & "see" some more of China.
The Great Wall is very old & has lots of "unsafe" parts...that would not reach "code" in the US. I was VERY nervous at times with Addalie....lots & lots of places for her to fall far! Of course, those of you that know Scott well can imagine how he "enjoyed" making me more nervous...ahhhhh my crazy husband!
All in all we had a great morning & were so glad for the opportunity to see such an amazing part of Jyla's country!
