Today was a busy day!!
This morning we had orientation. There are about 20 other families adopting right now too. We were told lots & lots of information. Some general China-info & then some updates on our children!!! They gave us some new pictures & gave us more details about Jyla's daily routine etc. Her favorite foods are rice, bread, congee (like porridge) & apples.
She is independent, likes taking walks, & her toy phone.
It was a bit emotional to get the updates & pictures & to know that in 2 days we will meet her!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It was fun to interact with the other families during this time....hearing about the children that they are adopting etc.
After that we had lunch & then did some "tourist things".
The Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square & a Silk Factory where we got cute little silk kimonos for Jyla & Ads! (can't wait to wear them on them.)
Thank you for your prayers! This is an experience of a lifetime!!
Tomorrow morning we are flying to Gaungzhou where Jyla is!! Please pray for our flight & for everything to go smoothly in the airports.
I am just going to post my pictures SOOTC (no editing)
Pictures:

3-The Chinese people LOVE Addalie!! (we're told it's because of her light colored hair & round checks)...she had at least 6 different groups of people ask to get their picture taken w/her today...
4-"Split Pants" (instead of diapers! quite economical & earth friendly, but watch your step on the sidewalk.)

careful at the wall.i am amazed...can't wait to meet jyla
Wow, you've been doing such a great job documenting your trip to pick up your sweet baby girl. We went to a lot of the same "tourist" places you did when we visited China only it was COLD when we were there. Crazy cold.
I'm so glad Jyla's a cuddler. Your family is beautiful.
