Happy Birthdayssss

Last week were Jyla & Addalie's birthdays.

As simple as we tried to keep it...it still felt a bit CRAZY to me.

2 straight days of celebrating!!

I told Scott it felt like a holiday.

We decided to get the girls a Power Wheels JEEP Barbie edition.

They had NO idea it was coming.

(both neighbors on either side of our house have daughters Addalie's age & they both have these cars...Addalie often just stares longingly at them in their yards riding around!) 

Although she has never once even mentioned that she should have one-

We knew it would be a gift that they could share & grow into.

 Jyla wasn't into unwrapping the huge present, so Addalie went at it solo.

We asked her what she thought it was....& her answer...

"a big box of books"!  (cute)

 Clearly they LOVE their "ride"!

Even the cat doesn't seem to mind the wreckless driving!!

In the picture below they are probably changing their radio station!! 

It actually works...better than the one in my car.

 Addalie said that Lexi (cat) was steering...which is a good thing cause Addalie sure doesn't.

again...our poor poor cats!

 That night we headed to Friendly's for more celebrating!!

 As mentioned previously we are needing to work on some "lady-like-ness" don't  ya think?

she licked it clean!

but hey, it was her BIRTHDAY!! 

 Jyla...all she wanted was the cone.

she's still trying to decide if she like ice cream or not.

she doesn't like the coldness of it...

if scott & addalie have anything to do with it...she WILL like it sooner or later.

& actually after this pic was taken Scott got Jyla to take a few bites....& she almost seemed to enjoy it!
