Scott was in charge of the girls for the evening &decided that he was going to take them to the Lancaster Catholic Fair. They had so much fun! They went on some rides & snacked on soft pretzels & lemonade. And apparently they "won" some games, because they came home with this lovely thing.........
Great!
Another pet!
Not to mention that it looked like it was going to die any second.
My poor daughters have been traumatized by their pets disappearing or getting hit on the road.
(Don't worry Mandy, the kittens are still safe & sound!)
But after some fish food, the little one perked up & seems fine.
Addalie named the fish "Kathy Booker"!!
So funny. (if you know kathy, you need to ask her the story about her love for goldfish.)
So far the name is sticking! =)
& she is thrilled to have a pet fish...can you tell?
But...that is not really the point of this post.
The point is: that my girls are so blessed with a WONDERFUL daddy!!
He could have taken the easier route & just stayed at home w/them that night....
or done things on his "to do list"...
but he was really excited about having a fun night: just him & them.
He is all about creating memories with them.
He gets down on their level & explains things so clearly.
He makes the small things like drinking lemonade a BIG deal & the girls think it's so special.

i was working at the fair twice this week, helping my aunt with soft pretzels. if i had known scott was in with the girls, i would've given them some tasty FREE pretzels.
clark was also in with my kids. too bad we all missed each other.

So glad to hear that the kitties are doing well. Their mom has been missing for a week :( and Wanda's cat disappeared too. Glad yours are hanging around. :)
