every moment of every day....

she wants (& fusses) to be held.
when we are in public it is easier, she is social & temporarily forgets about her emotional needs.
this morning i met with our counselor.  i am always encouraged after talking with her.
i have seen how small my patience really is......it is a fraction of what i seem to need to care for jyla.
but i also see God's grace & strength & realize that He is able to sustain me everyday.
i LOVE mothering...& right now i am trying to remember that i am not called to do many things beyond mothering....very simple mothering...not lots of play dates or extra things.  =)
just the basic provision of their needs & trying to teach them about their hearts & God.
right now, addalie is pulling my arm to come into the kitchen to dance.....
so i'm off.....

Ah, may the Lord bless you with the patience and grace to hold and love just as much as they need. (I've got one right now that begs to be held all the time too.) I love how you said that mothering is your calling right now~and not much else. So true. May we do it well!

beautiful. things don't seem so overwhelming when we stick to what we are called to do, love them and be with them. i love you and am so thankful for the example you are to me. xoxo

What profoundly blessed little girls you have. A Mom who loves being with them---and is willing to postpone other things for them. Too soon they will be running out the door to their job or school. Keep treasuring these days.
I love watching your life, Angie. It's so beautiful.

Love you!
Cynthia
